Digital skills for brighter tomorrow.

About Tech Skills for Success – Transforming Knowledge into Opportunity

Hands-on training and care to unlock potential and create success.

Every year in Burundi, thousands of young graduates finish school but remain without work. Despite their determination, many are excluded from today’s job market because they lack one essential requirement: digital skills. In a world where over 90{03e95a6e18ed05ffacee0a6935906c2a8aad58ec47430541617d6c923360be3f} of jobs demand computer literacy, this gap locks them in poverty and hopelessness.

The Munyundo Foundation created the Tech Skills for Success project to break this cycle. Over the course of three months, underserved youth are equipped with the tools they need to thrive. They learn how to master Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, while also becoming confident in navigating the internet and making responsible use of social media. Alongside these digital skills, they receive job-readiness coaching from writing CVs and cover letters to preparing for interviews that gives them a fair chance to compete in today’s demanding labor market.

But the program goes further than technical training. At the beginning and end of the cycle, a consultant guides students through personal development sessions designed to build confidence, self-awareness, and resilience. Each day, participants also find themselves in a safe and supportive environment where they are offered a simple tea with milk and two donuts. This small gesture ensures that no one studies on an empty stomach, because we believe that dignity and care are essential for effective learning.

Tech Skills for Success is about more than software, it is about restoring dignity, building confidence, and creating opportunity. By the end of the training, participants not only know how to use computers; they also carry the courage to apply for jobs, explore freelancing, or even launch small businesses of their own.

Through Tech Skills for Success, dreams turn into skills, and skills turn into futures.

Your Gift Creates Futures

Your support makes this transformation possible.

With just $200, you can sponsor one young graduate for three full months of training covering personal development, digital skills, job readiness, access to computers, and a safe learning environment. This gift doesn’t only teach software; it opens doors to dignity, employment, and hope.

Every contribution, no matter the size, helps us restore confidence and create opportunities for Burundi’s youth. Together, we can ensure that no dream is wasted because of poverty or lack of skills.
